Kulamavu Dam (750 metres)

Kulamavu Dam is one of the three dams of the Idukki hydro electric power project. The dam is located on the Idukki-Thodupuzha state highway. The underground tunnel, which is part of the hydro electric power project and leads to Moolamattom power house starts from the premises of the dam. Here, many beautiful sights await you including the dam, the forest which is part of the sanctuary, views of mountains, greenery, the calmness of water etc.
